6 Tips to Be a Gifted Parent to Babies
How to be a Gifted Parent to Babies? Here are 6 tips to be a good parent:
1. In case of babies that were circumcised, having swelling, redness, pus, tenderness or bleeding on the area of circumcision will need the immediate attention of a doctor.
2. Vomiting frequently, especially if the color is green or there is blood present necessitates the doctor’s attention. So is an abnormal or unstable body temperature. The breathing of your baby that is faster than 60 times per minute is not normal and will have to be checked by a doctor.
3. Thrush, wheezing and coughing, lethargy, poor eating or complete refusal to eat or feed and excessive irritability are signs that something is wrong with your baby. It would be safer to get the doctor’s expert advice on what next to do.
4. Persistent constipation, no bowel movement by 36 hours and diarrhea are all reasons for getting immediate doctor’s attention. So is the sudden change in the bowel movement that comes with poor eating and irritability.
5.The failure to urinate 6 to 8 hours after urination or simply the discomfort in doing so after circumcision is also cause for concern and requires consultation with a doctor.
6. Babies could prove to be quite curious. Needless to say, electrical sockets should have safety covers to avoid electrocution which could easily be fatal. This could happen if your baby pokes his fingers to the sockets. Gates should be installed at the top and bottom of your stairs to prevent your child from falling.
